Slayville Server Rules

September 12, 2026

Slayville II is a whitelisted, 18+ Minecraft community built around mature players, long-term survival, fair progression, and respect for other players. Our rules are intended to protect the community and everyone’s time without taking the fun out of Minecraft.

By joining Slayville II, you agree to follow these rules. Not every possible situation can be specifically listed, so staff may use reasonable judgment when dealing with behavior that is clearly harmful to the server or community.

1. Fair Play — No Hacking, Cheating, Exploits, or Glitches

Slayville II is a survival server. Progress, items, money, experience, and achievements should be earned through legitimate gameplay and the systems provided by the server.

Hacked or modified clients, unauthorized mods, scripts, macros, exploits, duplication glitches, x-ray, automated movement, or other tools that provide an unfair advantage are prohibited.

Client-side modifications that improve performance, graphics, accessibility, inventory organization, or provide information normally available to the player are generally acceptable provided they do not automate gameplay or provide information a normal player could not reasonably obtain.

If you discover a bug, duplication method, economy exploit, plugin issue, or other unintended behavior, report it rather than taking advantage of it. Knowingly exploiting a problem may result in removal of items, money, experience, ranks, or other gains obtained through the exploit.

When in doubt, ask staff before using it.

2. No Griefing, Theft, or Destruction of Property

Do not intentionally damage, destroy, alter, or interfere with another player’s builds, property, farms, animals, storage, redstone systems, or surrounding area without permission.

A build being unclaimed does not automatically make it abandoned or free to take.

Do not take items from containers, farms, shops, dropped-item systems, or other player-owned areas unless it is clear that they are intended for public use.

Do not deliberately create lava flows, water damage, fire, explosions, mobs, trees, structures, or other environmental changes intended to damage another player’s property.

Accidents happen. If you accidentally damage something, make a reasonable effort to repair it or contact the owner or staff.

3. Respect Players, Builds, Claims, and Surrounding Areas

Give other players reasonable space to build and expand.

Do not intentionally build immediately beside another established base, town, project, or claim without discussing it with the player first. A claim boundary represents protected property, but players may reasonably use the surrounding area for expansion, landscaping, roads, farms, or future projects.

Avoid deliberately creating ugly structures, pits, towers, floating blocks, excessive terrain damage, or other eyesores immediately around another player’s build.

Public wilderness is available to everyone, but common courtesy still applies outside of claims.

4. Mature and Respectful Community

Slayville II is an 18+ server, and adult conversation, humor, and occasional profanity are expected. Being an adult server, however, does not mean anything goes.

Excessive harassment, bullying, threats, targeted personal attacks, deliberately disruptive behavior, or repeatedly attempting to provoke another player is not acceptable.

Disagreements happen. Handle them like adults. If a situation cannot be resolved between players, contact staff rather than escalating it publicly.

Staff may intervene when behavior becomes disruptive to the community even if the exact behavior is not specifically listed in these rules.

5. No Hate Speech or Discriminatory Harassment

Racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory slurs and attacks directed toward individuals or groups are prohibited.

This includes attempts to disguise prohibited language through spelling changes, symbols, signs, books, renamed items, builds, skins, usernames, or other means.

Slayville II is intended to be a place where adults from different backgrounds can relax and play Minecraft together.

6. Alternate Accounts

Do not use alternate accounts to bypass server limitations or gain an unfair advantage.

This includes using additional accounts to circumvent restrictions involving ranks, rewards, quests, jobs, crates, daily rewards, cooldowns, player limits, shops, claims, homes, inventories, or other progression systems.

Having another legitimate Minecraft account is not automatically prohibited. Using it to obtain something your primary account would not otherwise be entitled to receive is the problem.

If multiple people in the same household play Slayville II, that is completely fine. Each person should have their own legitimate account and play normally.

7. AFK and Automation

Normal AFK activity is allowed within the limits established by the server.

Do not construct or use AFK machines, macros, scripts, key weights, automated movement systems, or similar methods specifically designed to fool or bypass the server’s AFK detection or automatic kick system.

Likewise, unattended automation that effectively plays the game for you may be considered an unfair advantage.

Minecraft farms and redstone automation that operate normally within the game are allowed unless a particular design causes significant server performance problems or exploits unintended behavior.

8. Economy, Shops, and Trading

Players are encouraged to participate in Slayville II’s economy through Jobs, QuickShops, the Auction House, player-to-player trading, and other server systems.

Do not intentionally scam other players, manipulate bugs in the economy, duplicate currency or merchandise, exploit shop/plugin errors, or deliberately misrepresent an item being sold.

Players are generally free to determine their own prices. Competition and finding a good deal are part of a player economy. A player charging more or less than someone else is not by itself a violation of the rules.

Do not create misleading shops designed to trick players about the item, quantity, or price being purchased or sold.

Server administrative shops may exist to provide or remove particular items from the economy and do not necessarily establish mandatory player-market prices.

9. Claims and Land

The claiming system exists to protect your builds and belongings. Players are strongly encouraged to claim important property.

Do not intentionally claim land solely to block another player from expanding, surround another claim, interfere with someone’s established project, or hold desirable land hostage.

Claims that appear abandoned may eventually be handled according to the server’s inactivity policies. Do not assume an inactive player’s property belongs to you.

If you believe an abandoned claim is interfering with your project, contact staff rather than attempting to work around or exploit it.

10. Server Performance

Do not intentionally create builds, machines, farms, entities, or redstone systems designed to cause server lag or negatively affect other players.

Large farms and technical builds are welcome, but they should be designed responsibly.

Staff may ask that a particularly demanding farm, redstone machine, excessive entity collection, or other build be modified if it causes measurable performance problems. This is not intended to discourage technical Minecraft—only to keep the server playable for everyone.

11. PvP and Player Interaction

Unless an area or event is specifically designated otherwise, do not repeatedly kill, trap, harass, or interfere with players who clearly do not wish to participate in PvP.

Do not use teleportation requests, portals, homes, warps, or other server mechanics to intentionally lure players into traps or unavoidable deaths.

Friendly competition, agreed-upon PvP, community events, and mutually agreed pranks are welcome.

The important part is consent and common sense.

12. Chat, Advertising, and Spam

Do not flood public chat, repeatedly send the same message, excessively use capitalization, intentionally bypass chat protections, or otherwise make public chat difficult for others to use.

Do not advertise unrelated Minecraft servers, commercial services, Discord communities, websites, or other products without staff approval.

Sharing relevant links during normal conversation is fine. The rule is intended to prevent unsolicited advertising and spam, not ordinary conversation.

13. Appropriate Usernames, Skins, Builds, and Content

Usernames, nicknames, skins, signs, books, item names, builds, and other visible content must remain reasonably appropriate for an adult gaming community.

Sexually explicit content, extreme offensive imagery, hate symbols used to harass or promote hatred, or material intended primarily to shock or disrupt the community may be removed.

Staff may ask a player to change content that is inappropriate for the server.

14. Do Not Impersonate Staff or Other Players

Do not impersonate staff members or deliberately pretend to have administrative authority that you do not possess.

Likewise, do not intentionally impersonate another community member for the purpose of misleading, embarrassing, scamming, or causing problems for them.

If you aren’t sure whether someone is actually a staff member, ask.

15. Do Not Attempt to Bypass a Punishment

Do not use alternate accounts, another player’s account, VPNs, Discord accounts, or other methods to evade a mute, temporary ban, restriction, or other staff action.

If you disagree with a decision, contact staff through the appropriate channel rather than attempting to circumvent it.

Attempting to evade enforcement may result in a more serious action than the original violation.

16. Protect Your Account

You are responsible for activity performed using your Minecraft account.

Do not knowingly allow another person to use your account to bypass the whitelist, a punishment, progression restrictions, or other server rules.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact staff as soon as possible.

17. Whitelist and 18+ Requirement

Slayville II is a private, whitelisted community for players age 18 and older.

Whitelist approval applies to the person who submitted the application. Do not provide server access to another person by sharing accounts or attempting to circumvent the application process.

Being whitelisted is not a permanent entitlement to access. Players who seriously or repeatedly violate community rules may have their whitelist access removed.

Players interested in joining can join the Slayville II Discord for additional information or submit the whitelist application on this website.

18. Staff Decisions and Common Sense

No written rules can anticipate every situation.

Finding a technical loophole in the wording of a rule does not make deliberately harmful behavior acceptable. Staff may address conduct that clearly violates the intent of fair play, damages the server, or substantially disrupts the community.

At the same time, staff should consider context, intent, severity, prior behavior, and available evidence when addressing a problem. Not every mistake requires a punishment.

If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, ask before doing it.

Our Approach to the Rules

Slayville II is being built by and for adults. The goal isn’t to create a server where staff are constantly looking for reasons to punish players. These rules exist so everyone can spend their time building, exploring, progressing, trading, completing quests, fishing, experimenting with custom enchants, and enjoying Minecraft together.

There are no paid perks or pay-to-win advantages on Slayville II. Progression and rewards are intended to come from actually playing the server, which makes protecting fair gameplay particularly important.

Most situations can be avoided with a few simple principles:

Play legitimately. Respect other players and their work. Don’t abuse server systems. Use common sense.

If you can do those things, you’ll fit in just fine.

Slayville II — Build something that lasts.
