Making Money

There are many ways to earn money on Slayville II, and players are encouraged to choose the activities they enjoy most.

You do not have to follow one specific path. Some players earn most of their money through Jobs, while others focus on fishing, quests, selling resources, running shops, or trading with other players.

Jobs

Jobs are one of the most consistent ways to earn money while playing normally.

Depending on the job you choose, you can earn money and Job XP by performing activities such as:

  • Mining
  • Farming
  • Fishing
  • Building
  • Hunting
  • Gathering resources
  • Other survival activities

Use:

/jobs

to access the Jobs system.

Jobs are a good option for players who want to earn money automatically while doing things they would already be doing in survival.

Changing Jobs

Choose your jobs carefully.

Leaving or changing a job may result in a loss of 30% of your Job XP.

Because of this, it is usually a good idea to stay with a job long enough to benefit from its progression before switching.

Fishing

Fishing on Slayville II goes far beyond standard Minecraft fishing.

The server includes a large collection of custom fish, different fishing tiers, unique rewards, and special catches.

Fishing can provide:

  • Money
  • Fishing progression
  • Valuable fish
  • Rare catches
  • Items that may be useful or collectible
  • Additional income through the Fisherman Job

Players who enjoy fishing may find it to be one of the most relaxing ways to build their balance while also collecting unique items.

Quests

Quests provide another way to earn rewards while completing specific objectives.

Slayville II includes multiple types of quests, including:

  • Daily quests
  • Weekly quests
  • Extended quests
  • Quest scrolls

Quest objectives may involve activities such as:

  • Mining
  • Harvesting crops
  • Killing mobs
  • Crafting items
  • Fishing
  • Exploring
  • Traveling
  • Completing other survival tasks

Quest rewards vary and may include money, items, keys, or other useful rewards.

Selling Items to the Server

Slayville II provides ways to sell supported items directly back to the server.

Use:

/sellgui

to open the server buy-back interface.

This is useful for converting excess resources into money without needing to find another player to purchase them.

Common resources gathered through mining, farming, and other activities can often provide steady income when sold in larger quantities.

However, not every item should automatically be sold to the server.

Rare or valuable items may be worth considerably more when sold to another player.

Player Shops

Running a player shop can become one of the most profitable activities on Slayville II.

Players can sell resources, equipment, building materials, rare items, and other goods directly to other members of the community.

A successful shop depends on:

  • Choosing items other players want
  • Setting competitive prices
  • Keeping your shop stocked
  • Choosing a convenient location
  • Advertising your goods appropriately

Player shops are especially useful for items that may be worth more than their server sell value.

The Slayville II Marketplace provides a dedicated area where players can operate their own shops.

Auction House

The Auction House allows players to list items for sale to the entire server.

Use:

/ah

to open the Auction House.

The Auction House is ideal for selling:

  • Rare items
  • Enchanted equipment
  • Custom items
  • Valuable resources
  • Collectibles
  • Hard-to-find materials
  • Items that may not belong in a permanent player shop

Because players choose their own listing prices, it is a good idea to check current listings before deciding what an item is worth.

Player Trading

Direct trading with other players can also be profitable.

The value of an item is not always the same as its Server Shop price.

Certain items may be worth considerably more to another player because they are:

  • Difficult to obtain
  • Rare
  • Custom
  • Needed for a project
  • Used for progression
  • Collectible
  • In high demand

Learning what other players need can be just as important as knowing what the Server Shop will pay.

Server Rewards & Events

Money and valuable items may also be earned through server activities and rewards.

Depending on what is active on the server, players may receive rewards from:

  • Crates
  • Daily rewards
  • Quests
  • Events
  • Treasure hunts
  • Special server activities
  • NPC rewards
  • Other progression systems

Even when a reward does not provide money directly, the item you receive may still have value through the player economy.

Combine Multiple Methods

You do not have to choose only one way to earn money.

In fact, some of the best income comes from combining several systems.

For example, you might:

  1. Join a mining-related Job.
  2. Travel to the Resource World.
  3. Earn Job income while mining.
  4. Keep valuable materials for your player shop.
  5. Sell bulk resources through the server selling system.
  6. List rare items on the Auction House.

This allows the same play session to generate income from several different sources.

Save for Rank Progression

Remember that money is also used to purchase Slayville II ranks.

When you rank up, the required amount is deducted from your balance.

You may sometimes need to decide whether to spend money on items now or save toward your next rank.

There is no requirement to rush.

Build your economy at your own pace, experiment with different money-making methods, and find the activities you enjoy most.
