Job Levels & Progression

Jobs on Slayville II are designed to reward long-term participation, not just individual actions.

As you perform activities related to your Job, you can earn:

  • Money
  • Job XP
  • Job levels
  • Additional progression rewards

The more consistently you work within a Job, the more experience you build over time.

Earning Job XP

Job XP is earned by performing activities associated with your selected Job.

Depending on the Job, this may include actions such as:

  • Mining blocks
  • Harvesting crops
  • Fishing
  • Building
  • Hunting mobs
  • Gathering resources
  • Completing other Job-related activities

Each valid action contributes toward your Job progression.

Job Levels

As you earn Job XP, your Job level increases.

Higher Job levels represent the time and effort you have invested into that profession.

Job levels are separate from your Slayville II server rank.

For example, you may be:

  • A high-level Miner
  • A lower-level Fisherman
  • Progressing through the Slayville II rank system at the same time

Each progression system tracks something different.

Why Job Levels Matter

Job levels give players a long-term reason to stay active in a profession.

As you progress, Jobs may become more rewarding and provide better income or additional benefits.

Higher levels can also serve as a measure of experience within that profession.

A player who has spent a large amount of time mining, fishing, farming, or building will naturally develop a higher Job level in that activity.

Income Progression

Job income is tied to the activities you perform.

As your Job progresses, the value of those activities may increase depending on the Job configuration.

This means two players performing the same activity may not always earn exactly the same amount if they are at different Job levels.

The goal is to reward players who remain committed to a profession over time.

Jobs and the Economy

Jobs are one of the main ways money enters the Slayville II economy.

Because the server uses a player-driven economy, Job income can then be used for things such as:

  • Rank progression
  • Player Shops
  • Marketplace purchases
  • Auction House listings
  • Player trading
  • Specialty Server Shop items

This makes Job progression an important part of the overall economy.

Jobs and Skills

Jobs and Skills are separate systems, but they often progress together.

For example, while mining you may:

  • Earn Job money
  • Earn Job XP
  • Increase your Job level
  • Increase mining-related skills
  • Gather resources for sale
  • Find materials for your own projects

The same is true for activities such as fishing, farming, combat, and gathering.

This allows one activity to contribute to several forms of progression at once.

Resource Worlds and Job Progression

Resource Worlds are ideal for Jobs based around gathering materials.

Players can use them for:

  • Mining
  • Wood gathering
  • Resource collection
  • Nether gathering
  • End resource collection

This allows players to work on Job progression without heavily altering the main survival world.

Progress at Your Own Pace

There is no requirement to reach a certain Job level quickly.

Some players may focus heavily on one Job, while others may progress more casually while building, exploring, or trading.

The Jobs system is designed to reward consistent gameplay over time.

Protect Your Progress

Remember that leaving or changing a Job may result in a loss of 30% of your Job XP.

Because higher Job levels can take significant time to earn, switching Jobs should be considered carefully.

Before leaving a Job, make sure the change is worth the loss of progression.

Long-Term Progression

Job levels are intended to be another long-term goal on Slayville II.

As you continue playing, your Job history becomes a reflection of how you spend your time on the server.

Whether you become an experienced Miner, Fisherman, Farmer, Builder, Hunter, or another profession, Job progression gives your everyday survival activities additional purpose.
