The Auction House allows players to buy and sell items with the entire Slayville II community without needing to maintain a permanent shop.
It is one of the easiest ways to sell valuable, unusual, or one-time items to other players.
Opening the Auction House
Use:
/ah
to open the Auction House.
The Auction House can also be accessed through the Slayville II main menu.
Buying Items
When you open the Auction House, you can browse items currently listed by other players.
Listings may include:
- Rare items
- Enchanted equipment
- Custom items
- Crate rewards
- Valuable resources
- Collectibles
- Building materials
- Specialty items
- Hard-to-find items
Because all prices are set by players, the cost of similar items may vary.
It is always a good idea to compare listings before making a purchase.
Selling an Item
To list an item for sale, hold the item in your hand and use:
/ah sell <price>
Replace <price> with the amount you want to charge.
For example:
/ah sell 5000
This lists the item you are holding for $5,000.
Before confirming a listing, make sure you are holding the correct item and that the price is what you intended.
View Your Active Listings
Use:
/ah active
to view your current Auction House listings.
This is useful for checking which items you still have for sale and managing your active auctions.
What Should You Sell?
The Auction House works especially well for items that are valuable but may not sell regularly enough to justify keeping them stocked in a permanent Player Shop.
Good Auction House items may include:
- Rare equipment
- Custom enchanted items
- Crate rewards
- Fishing rewards
- Collectibles
- Specialty items
- Large stacks of valuable resources
- Difficult-to-obtain materials
- One-time or unusual items
For common items that you sell repeatedly, a Player Shop may be a better option.
Setting a Price
The Slayville II Auction House does not determine the value of your item.
You do.
Before creating a listing, consider:
- How rare the item is
- How difficult it is to obtain
- Current demand
- Similar listings already on the Auction House
- Prices in Player Shops
- Whether the item has custom enchantments
- Whether the item is collectible or limited
If you price an item too high, it may sit unsold.
If you price it too low, another player may get a very good deal.
Checking the market before listing can help you choose a fair price.
The Auction House and Player Economy
The Auction House is an important part of Slayville II’s player-driven economy.
The server does not set fixed prices for most normal survival goods, so Auction House listings help players establish what items are currently worth.
Prices may rise or fall depending on:
- Supply
- Demand
- Player activity
- New content
- Resource availability
- Server progression
This means the Auction House can also be useful for learning the current value of items, even when you are not buying or selling.
Auction House vs. Player Shops
Both systems have advantages.
Auction House
Best for:
- Rare items
- Expensive items
- One-time sales
- Custom items
- Items you want the entire server to see
Player Shops
Best for:
- Regular stock
- Bulk materials
- Frequently purchased goods
- Long-term businesses
- Marketplace locations
Many players use both systems.
You might operate a shop for everyday materials while using the Auction House for rare or high-value items.
Trade Fairly
Auction House listings must follow all Slayville II rules.
Do not:
- Misrepresent an item
- Exploit bugs or glitches
- Abuse listing mechanics
- Use deceptive item names or descriptions
- Attempt to scam other players
Always check an item’s name, enchantments, quantity, and price before purchasing.
Check Back Often
Auction House inventory constantly changes as players list and purchase items.
If you are searching for something specific, check back regularly.
You never know when another player may list exactly what you need.
