Fish Rarities & Tiers

Custom fish on Slayville II are divided into several rarity tiers.

Each tier represents how uncommon the fish is and, just as importantly, how much the fish is worth when sold at the fishing shop.

Higher-tier fish are more difficult to catch and reward players with greater value.

Fishing Tiers

Slayville II currently uses the following custom fish tiers:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Diamond
  • Platinum
  • Mythical

Each tier increases in rarity and value.

Bronze

Bronze fish are the most common custom catches.

They are a good starting point for players participating in Fishing Tournaments and are generally the easiest custom fish to encounter.

Bronze fish have the lowest shop value of the custom tiers, but they can still provide steady income during active tournaments.

Silver

Silver fish are less common than Bronze fish and sell for more money at the fishing shop.

They provide a noticeable step up in value and are a good target for players beginning to build a custom fish collection.

Gold

Gold fish are more difficult to catch and provide even greater shop value.

Players who regularly participate in Fishing Tournaments will begin to see Gold catches as an important source of bonus income.

Diamond

Diamond fish are high-tier catches.

They are significantly more valuable than the lower tiers and can provide a strong payout when sold.

Catching a Diamond fish can be both a valuable economic reward and a good addition to a collection.

Platinum

Platinum fish are among the rarest and most valuable custom fish available.

These catches sell for substantially more than the lower tiers and may take considerably more time or luck to find.

Platinum fish are especially desirable for players focused on fishing income or rare collections.

Mythical

Mythical fish are the highest-tier custom catches on Slayville II.

They are the rarest and most valuable fish in the system.

Mythical catches can provide the greatest shop value and are among the most desirable fish for collectors.

Catching one should feel like a major fishing achievement.

Higher Tier = Higher Value

The fishing tier system is designed so that value increases as rarity increases.

In general:

Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Platinum → Mythical

As you move up through the tiers:

  • Fish become rarer
  • Fish become more valuable
  • Shop payouts increase
  • Collectible value increases
  • Rare catches become more desirable to players

Selling Custom Fish

Custom fish can be sold through the fishing shop.

The shop value depends on the tier of the fish.

This means a higher-tier catch may be worth significantly more than several lower-tier fish.

Players who enjoy fishing can therefore earn money not only through tournament rewards and the Fisherman Job, but also by selling the custom fish they catch.

Fishing During Tournaments

Remember that custom fish are only available during active Fishing Tournaments.

Because tournaments occur every hour, players have regular opportunities to catch fish from each rarity tier.

The more tournaments you participate in, the more chances you have to find higher-tier fish.

Collect or Sell?

You do not have to sell every custom fish you catch.

Some players may choose to:

  • Sell fish for money
  • Keep rare catches as collectibles
  • Build a complete fish collection
  • Trade unusual fish with other players
  • Save especially rare fish as trophies

Higher-tier fish may be valuable both financially and as collectibles.

The Goal

The tier system gives fishing long-term progression.

Early catches may mostly consist of Bronze and Silver fish, while experienced or lucky players may eventually find Diamond, Platinum, or Mythical catches.

Whether you are fishing for money, competition, or collection, every higher-tier fish is a more valuable reward.
