Custom enchantment books on Slayville II are designed to be straightforward to use.
All custom enchantment books on the server have a 100% success rate, so if the book is compatible with the item and there is an available enchantment slot, the enchantment will apply successfully.
Players can either:
- Apply a custom enchantment book directly to an item
- Combine matching books through the Alchemist to create a higher-level enchantment first
Applying a Custom Enchantment Directly
Custom enchantment books can be applied directly to compatible equipment.
Depending on the enchantment, it may be designed for:
- Weapons
- Armor
- Tools
- Bows
- Other supported equipment
If the book is compatible with the item and there is an available custom enchantment slot, the enchantment can be applied directly.
Because all Slayville II custom enchantment books have a 100% success rate, there is no risk of the book randomly failing when it is used correctly.
100% Success Rate
All custom enchantment books on Slayville II are configured with a 100% success rate.
Before applying a book, the important things to check are:
- Is the enchantment compatible with the item?
- Does the item have an available custom enchantment slot?
- Does the enchantment conflict with another enchantment already on the item?
- Is this the enchantment and level you want on the item?
Once applied, the enchantment becomes part of that item’s custom enchantment setup.
Using the Alchemist
The Alchemist allows players to combine matching custom enchantment books to create higher-level versions of the same enchantment.
This works similarly to combining normal Minecraft enchanted books.
To increase an enchantment by one level, you need two books of the exact same enchantment and the exact same level.
For example:
- Two Level I books combine into one Level II book
- Two Level II books combine into one Level III book
- Two Level III books combine into one Level IV book
- Two Level IV books combine into one Level V book
The same pattern continues until the enchantment reaches its maximum supported level.
Enchantment Levels Must Match
You cannot combine books of different levels to create the next level.
For example:
A Level II book and a Level III book will not create a Level IV book.
To make a Level IV book, you need:
Level III + Level III = Level IV
Likewise:
Level II + Level II = Level III
This makes lower-level books useful even when you already own the enchantment, because duplicates can be combined and upgraded over time.
Build or Apply?
When you obtain a custom enchantment book, you have two main choices.
You can apply it directly to your equipment at its current level, or you can save matching copies and combine them through the Alchemist for a stronger version.
For valuable gear, it may be worth waiting until you have the enchantment level you ultimately want before applying it.
Custom Enchantment Slot Limit
Items begin with a maximum of 5 custom enchantment slots.
This means a standard item can normally hold up to five custom enchantments.
Because space is limited, players should think carefully about which enchantments they want to use.
A strong item is usually built around a purpose rather than simply filling every slot with random enchantments.
Increasing the Slot Limit
The custom enchantment limit can be increased from 5 slots up to a maximum of 9 slots.
To increase an item’s available slots, players can use a Slot Increaser.
Slot Increasers are available for purchase from the Server Shop.
This allows high-end equipment to hold additional custom enchantments and gives players more room to create specialized gear.
Building High-End Gear
With Slot Increasers, an item can eventually support as many as:
9 custom enchantments
This makes it possible to create advanced builds focused on things such as:
- Combat
- Defense
- Mining
- Mobility
- Utility
- Boss encounters
- General survival
Because Slot Increasers are purchased separately, expanding an item’s capacity is another part of long-term equipment progression.
Removing a Custom Enchantment
Custom enchantments can be removed from equipment using a Black Scroll.
Black Scrolls are available for purchase from the Server Shop.
When used, a Black Scroll removes a random custom enchantment from the item.
Because the enchantment removed is random, Black Scrolls should be used carefully on equipment containing several valuable enchantments.
When to Use a Black Scroll
A Black Scroll may be useful when:
- You no longer want one or more enchantments on an item
- You want to rebuild an equipment setup
- You need to free a custom enchantment slot
- You want to change the purpose of an item
- You applied an enchantment and later decided on a different build
Remember that you do not choose which enchantment is removed.
The result is random.
Plan Before You Apply
Even though enchantment books always succeed, planning still matters.
Before applying a valuable book, consider:
- What the item will be used for
- Whether you want to upgrade the book through the Alchemist first
- How many custom slots remain
- Whether you plan to increase the item to 9 slots
- Whether another enchantment would work better
- Whether any enchantments conflict
- How difficult the book may be to replace
Good planning can prevent you from having to rely on random Black Scroll removal later.
Standard and Custom Enchantments
Custom enchantment slots are separate from the normal idea of Minecraft enchanting.
An item may still have standard Minecraft enchantments while also containing Slayville II custom enchantments.
This allows players to combine normal upgrades with custom abilities to create specialized equipment.

Build Carefully
Custom enchantment books are guaranteed to apply successfully, but your available slots are limited.
Decide whether you want to apply a book immediately or combine matching books through the Alchemist first. Build toward the enchantment levels you want, expand important equipment with Slot Increasers when needed, and use Black Scrolls if you need to rework an item.
A well-planned set of custom gear can become one of the most valuable parts of your Slayville II progression.
